Newest set up

Still in the process of moving, but I upgraded my 20gallon (long) to this spare 55 I had been using for my water change tank. But I needed a larger home for my red tail shark, so here it is. I couldn’t be more happy.
I also added some cherry shrimp, and a sand waterfall. I don’t know about you guys but crafting and then installing the scape is definitely my favorite part of the hobby.

Yeah for sure! I gotta wait for the glare to die down a little. New place gotta get used to all the new angles haha

Here’s a couple. They are looking pretty good. My first run with shrimp. They are not easy to get out here.

Water test for those wondering, and yes I see the ammonia spiked a little, I assume it’s from the 98% water change.

Auuuugh my tank started leaking from the bottom. Had to do an emergency replacement. Not only that but I got the ok from my gf to buy a 75 gallon, and the only one in any of our pet stores was sold just as I walked in the door. Today has been a solid stress filled disappointment.

Ugh I loved that set up, but no more than 12 hours later that tank blew a seam on the bottom and had to be replaced. It’s due for a full silicone replacement I think (it’s the second time it’s started leaking, just a different spot each time). So i still have the sandfall, just the scape is all a bit different

It's a shame that and sorry to hear about your leaks ?it keeps fine.

It’s all good. I replaced the tank. So yeah hopefully the brand new one has a bit more life to it
