Today, I found firebellied newts  at the LFS. I got them a floating island to come out onto. They're so cute!
And, I also bought two new mollies.
My older molly is very pregnant. I didn't want to put her into a breeder net, because she is kinda large. So I transferred my betta into a temporary bowl, and put her into his 1 gallon aerated tank with a UGF. Will she be ok? She doesn't seem to like it, but by the looks of things, she won't have to be in there long. Any advice?

I put my expecting mothers in a 1 gallon breeder tank. Hey, they have more room in there then in teh net. Make sure it has no gravle in there though, fry will get stuck.
So you have teh newts in teh molly tank? How big is the tank, how many inhabitants are ther in there? COOL! There's tons of those newts at my LFS, just curiuose, cuz I might get a few. Thanks,
Ron

Firebelly Newts give off toxins and I'm not too sure I'd keep them with fish.

In my 1 gallon I have very small gravel, I don't think the fry can get stuck in there.
The newts are very small, still, and I have them in a ten gallon with a few other fish. I am getting a bigger tank for my birthday though in less than a month and they are moving into it as soon as I get it. My biology teacher keeps them with her fish, they seem to do just fine... But it will be better when I move them into a bigger tank.
