My tank has been set up now for four days, (its going through the cycle) I have read all I possibly can from various places however I am concerned with the water, it seems to be a dark cloudy colour and don't seem to be clearing altho I have got a filter going all the time. I put in a fine filter as informed but it has made no difference.
in the tank as decoration are.
plastic plants (5),
imitation rock arch(1),
one piece of sandblasted wood root,
gravel,
small pieces of welsh slate,
all was well soked and washed before placing in the tank,
the tank is 12 x 12x 24 approx 13 gall.
Will the tank clear, or do I need to dismantle it all and start again.
(p.s forgive the spelling I am terrible at it)

hello royboy. From what i no and when i had a tank it should clear up,it can even take a few days. U do not seem to no how to use the color. To make something a new color just highlight it with ur cursur and then click what color u want.

Cheers

Cloudyness is very normal in new tanks, it could take from a few days to a few weeks to celar up, but it will clear up on its own. Any number of factors could be causing it, but none are harmful to the fish.

If it really bothers you then there are water clearing additives that will work, but I don't like to add chemicals to the water, and always wait it out.

I could never figure out how to use the color either. Thanks Lionfish!
