Hello people i,m new too all this so please be gentle I have recently been bought a biorb as a present and have had it up and running for about a month I took a water sample to my local fish shop whom informed me they have been in buisness 22 years, so after giving the lady my water sample she said the ph was a touch high but take some danio,s and see how they go, great that was a week ago and everything seems fine ,however today (1 week later) i have done a water test and the nitrates & nitrite levels seem quite high and the ammonia is ok and too the ph seems ok so was just after some advice should i do a 20% water change and test again ... ps i have 6 danios and real plants in my tank oh and 2 apple snails thanks in advance Jason........oh forgot to mention my nitrite is 1.6 and my nitrate is > 50 cheers again
