Hey all. New to keeping fish but always been interested and now i have money it seems like its the right time to have a go. In the end i decided to go for marine. Up to know i have set everything up and its been cycling for 4 weeks now. Everything seems to have gone write and all the levels look good. however i think i might leave it an extra week to be sure lol
Now im writing down a "wish list". Its a 40L tank so need to prioratise what i want.
At the min im thinking 2 black clowns, 2 neon goby, 1 yellow coral goby, maybe a couple of cleaner shrimp and a zoanthid.
However i dont know whever this would be too much. What do you think?

Any help would be much appreciated :)

In a 40 liter tank with a skimmer to allow for a heavy stocking, and weekly water changes, the shrimp (due to virtually no load on the system from them) and then wither both neon gobies or one neon and one yellow coral goby will be possible. The tank has a maximum capacity of two low waste and non-territorial fish. Expecting five fish in there is a clear overstocking of a 40l tank  The minimum tank size for clowns realy is 2X1X1 foot for a pair of percs or commons with their small size, but 3X1.5X1.5 foot would be better.

You say everything is set-up and cycled, but could you run us through the hardware and waterstats please? You'd be supprised at how shoddy some LFS set-up's are

All the best
