i have been given some catfish,joined to learn what type they are and how to care for them properly,hopefully not kill them,there is also 1 called elephant nose

Welcome to the forum!

If you create a photobucket.com account, it's really easy to post pictures. Show us what fish you have and I bet somebody can ID them. (I do recall hearing of a fish called an Elephant Nose, but I know nothing about it!)

Alternatively, follow the link in my sig. for how to post photos using imageshack (No sign up necessary so quicker).

Also, if you go to the catfish forum and post asking for an ID there, you can upload a photo directly to your post without having to rely on a 3rd party site. They also have a much better idea what they are talking about
