Newbie To Saltwater

I am thinking of setting up a marine tank not yet but wanted to get a idea of how much they cost etc.
Found this package deal

Is it any good expensive or value for money. Dont want to have expensive corals in it just live rock a few fish and a clean up crew. Any advise would be helpful Thanks

I would say that was rather expensive - look at the orca 550 made by boyu and get the other things seperatly - more fun and cheaper

Start by reading some of the threads on starting a new tank - get yourself a note pad and start scribling away. Treat the research as part of the fun of setting up and ask questions along the way - enjoy and be patient

sorry but i disagree, thats roughly £100-£120 worth of rock with it if your paying shop prices. So i dont think its too bad
Deffinatly could get it for cheaper shopping arounf for bits on ebay and that, but as a package it doesnt look bad. I dont know about the quality of the bits and there is stuff i wouldnt buy if doing it seperatly.

yeah it doesnt seem to bad a deal. Basically they are charging you about £200 (roughly) for the tank (and it looks like a fairly nice tank) so it depends if you can find a similar tank for less.

You will most likely need to get another power head for there and I would strongly recommend getting ammonia, nitrite and nitrate test kits.
