Newbie Stocking

Shalom,

I currently have 8 Tiger Barbs and 5 Cherry Barbs in my 240 Litre Aqurium.
I has hopeing someone could tell my how many mean to be in a school for the different types.
E.i Tiger barbs like bigger schools. That why I have 8 ect.
I think I only have enough room for one more school of fish. According to " The Rule" for stocking.

Rosy, Green Tiger, Goldern Tiger, Odessa Barb, Goldern Barb.... These are Fish I'm thinking of getting.



Any help would be great

Most people generally class 6 as a school, although the more you have, the better they look.
I'd personally go for the Green Tiger barbs as they'd add a bit more colour to the tank.

Yeah, I think I'll go for Green Tiger Barbs.

I want to get 8 Green Tiger Barbs and top up my Cherry Barbs to make them 8 also.

So Will 8 Tiger Barbs, 8 Green Tiger Barbs and 8 Cherry Barbs be ok in my 240 Litre tank?

They'll be absolutely fine provided you keep up with good tank maintenace.

Shalom, means Hello/Peace and Toda means thank you, both of which are hebrew.



I just got back from pet store and I got 5 Albino Tiger Barbs instead. Their all playing peacefully
