Hi Everyone!

I just have a few questions:

1.) Is a Bichir (Senegal) the same as the violet goby / dragon fish?

2.) How do you stock bichirs?

3.) Do they do well with Severums and other cichlids?

1) No completely different.
2) What do you mean?
3) Yes you can keep Bichirs with sensibly sized Cichlids as long as the Cichlids dont bully the Bichir and dont out compete it for food.

Depending on tank size and which Bichirs yes you can mix some of them. The only thing to watch is that some species vary in growth rates and finale size by a huge margin. You wouldnt want an 8-10" Senegal with a 2ft Endli for example. If you have a huge tank then you could mix a number of the similar sized species though.
