Newbie Needs Some Advice

Some of the aquarium setups here are awesome, I hope I will something along the same lines one day.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to aquariums and I need some advice.

I bought a Juwel Rio 180 on the weekend, I set it up and like a newbie added gravel without washing it first. Yesterday I added some marble rock and disturbed the gravel, now my water has gone all cloudy. Fourteen hours later it shows no signs of settling. Is it safe to keep marble rock in the aquarium?

What would be the best course of action? Drain the tank and start again? Or wait for the water to settle? Keeping in mind I still need to add some plants.

Any advice would be great.

I would remove the marble and stir up the gravel before doing almost complete water changes until clear.
