Newbie In Need Of Help

Hi

I am in the process of getting the equipment together to start setting up my first marine tank.
We all know how pricey this stuff is so I have been looking to buy a mature set up and then selling on the tank and using the equipment for the tank I already have (currently empty).

Anyway I have purchased a bargain which has most of the equipment I need but it came with added extras........namely a breeding pair of seahorses and some inverts!! GULP!

Do any of you know of a store anywhere between leamington Spa/Warwickshire area and Milton keynes that would take them in exchange for store credit? I am in the process of going through the ones listed on the pfk website but if any of you know one then please let me know. My lfs doesnt give store credit! And the others dont accept fish from customers.
I know that the seahorses can make £40 each privately and these are a breeding pair. No idea on what the inverts are worth.

I need to 'rehome'
-the seahorses,
-sea apple,
-urchins,
-hermit crab,
-feather duster
-living corals (not sure which exactly yet)

If any of you would like them then make me an offer and if you are situated between those two places above then I can deliver!

I dont fancy their chances of surviving the journey home and then have a further wait while I set the tank back up so they really need to go to a store or an experienced person on the day!

come on...hit the deck running

they should be ok in the move if you get a poly box to keep em warm, ask your LFS for a poly box. i would deffo get rid of the urchin and sea apple, they can devastate a tank if they get stressed. they release toxins into the water.

as long as you make sure you get all the water and live sand with the new tank, just set it up get it warm and away you go.

just be aware about sea horses, they are hard to keep but not impossible. they need regular feeding (they reckon up to 80 mysis shrimp a day) quite light flow as they are not good swimmers. try growing some nice macro algae for them, they like to cling onto things with their tails.
