Hello my name is Amber and I am from ohio :). I adopted about 14 guppy fish a few days ago, 2 of which are adults(male/female) the rest are still small(some bigger then others) They are currently housed in a 10 gallon aquarium, but I am in the process of setting up a 2nd 10 gallon for the babies. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself!
Also I was wondering if there was some sort of chart with pictures I can take a look at to tell what colors these little guys are?

Thanks
Amber

Welcome to the hobby, i also started recently, also have guppies and a few different Tetras, as far as I know there is no way to tell what colour they will be unless you know what the parent fish looked like. most likely will be a mix of colours from the parents. i am trying to breed pure blue guppies. they look amazing.

Well I am trying to figure out which color my adult pair are lol :). My males fins are yellow faded into a orang color with black spots. I posted in another section here but wanted more opinions. And would love to see a chart of some sort if it exists for future guppies :) I love how theres pictures showing the different colors of bettas and fin type and would love if such a thing existed for guppy fish as well as I just adore these little fish!
Also, where would the best place be to buy sand?? I think id rather use sand then gravel

Here is my adult boy

Hi there and welcome :)

I have family in Northern Ohio and go over there every couple of years to spend some time with them. Boy does it get hot and humid in the summer.

I'm not a huge fan of live bearers but your guppy in the picture looks a pretty little chap.

Yeah it sure does get hot and humid! Especially this year!! Dont care much for it lol

Welcome to the forum 4mb3rNich0l3! :good: I'm from Western New York and I certianly can sympathize with the hot humid weather! It has been terrible this year and with NO rain, it makes it even worse. My goldfish ponds and gardens are a mess! I'm not sure if there is a chart or anything like that for guppies. Good luck with them.
