Hello, here's my first planted aquarium. Suggestions and comments are welcomed and encouraged.

20 gallon tall
fluval 105
substrate (heated)
CO2 by Red Sea yeast sugar combo with power head
4 guppies (2 are yellow and red)
coral life lighting (65watt power compact)
coral life power supply with timer
plant tabs pushed into substrate (I think they were called flourish)
Penguin 200 filter (in pictures but it was temporary)

I like it, I am going to set up a new planted tank soon and this gives me some inspiration... :)

Thats superb and your first planted tank? I hope you do more in the future because they will be amazing. Do you distrubute your co2 with a powerhead?

thank you for the comments!! Yes first planted tank but did a lot of reasearch. Haven't had freshwater since I was younger but had been maintaining a 6 gallon saltwater eclipse for like 2 years. Also had help from Eduardo the "plant specialist" at Big Al's aquarium supercenter. I live like 15 minutes away from it in Florida. Yes the CO2 is hooked up to the powerhead. The kit is from Red Sea...it was like 25 bucks and came with the container that u fill with yeast and sugar (provided with kit) and a powerhead. Today is 2 weeks that it has been up and running and just added 4 neon tetras....i will post picks tonight. Yes I like guppies ) Thanks for welcoming me.

Hi RENDOG and welcome to TFF!

You have an excellent planted tank there, especially for a first attempt. I am impressed.

Do you have a list of plant species?

Great Job on the tank, If I get a 20 gallon tall tank for christmas or if someone suggests otherwise(check out my post in Tropical Chit Chat) thats the way I'd like it to look. Fine job. Oh and welcome to our great forum.

not sure all the names.....sorry still a bit new. Would like to get some riccia I know that much B) And the long thicker grass looking plant toward the back did not hold up that well at first but seems to be stabilizing
