:D hey guys! I was wondering I want a bigger tank  but the only thing is I just got a hagen 10gallon kit with stand :alien: and I was wondering something -_- could I put a 20gallon high all with the set up of a 10 ? thanks guys

I don't quite understand you, sorry - do you want to put a 20 gallon tank on a stand made for a 10 gallon? or do you want to put the decor of the 10 gallon in the 20 gallon. I wouldn't suggest you put a 20 gallon on a 10 gallon stand - the stand might not hold it. But there's no problem putting the decor from the 10 into the 20.

I don't know. I have a 55 gallon tank and if you do the math it's about.....(hold on)......440 pounds, with the big rocks and gravel so about 500 POUNDS!!!! And the stand it is on in NO way looked as though it would hold well, but it does just fine. A 20 gallon tank would be about.....160 pounds without gravel, with everything about 200 pounds. Does it seem like your stand could hold 200 pounds, and if you don't think so, try it out. If you don't weigh that much, find someone who does and have them sit up there and see if it holds well....if not then NO NO NO!!

Just a wierd thought!

Silver,

 I ment will a 20 gallon high like 2 10 gallon tanks stacked one on the other = a 20 high  will the 20 high use my 10 gallon hood? stank? ill buy a new filter and heater  but thats ok will this work?

what kind of stand do you have? what is it made of? you might not have to buy a different heater.

the stand will probaly hold because aquarium stands are built to hold weihgt unlike normal coffee tables etc.
