Well, there are a serious number of hybrid endler strains circulating which have the black bar endler as an ancestor. Overhere a new variety: the neon green saddlaback endler. And oh yes, this is also a hybrid strain. This one shows on a grey base a cover of neon green. There's also a Cumana endler from the wild called limegreen endler (some may call it emerald green endler but that's the commercial name). Limegreen is the official name. But with limegreen endlers it's always so much culling to keep the level of green on the body high. The limegreen endler does look a bit similar to the normal black bar endler but the body is more slender and stretched in comparison to the black bar endler. There are three kinds of limegreen endlers, the one with green chest and body, one with a vertical bar and one with a normal black bar. But all three varieties struggle with influence of red or orange. And that's why you have to cull pretty often to maintain the green within the strain.
But the one I'm showing is a new version of the black bar, called the neon green saddleback endler. Phenotypically, it's similar to the regular black bar endler but the orange and/or red is completely lacking.
