Mr Hippy, I don't like a lot of equipment, give me my eco system any day has just gone a little bit techi and gadgety.....

New refractometer, and I nearly hit the floor when I checked my sg....spot on 1.026..so my trusty old hydrometer was right all along....
Even so it's a gadget or should I really say.....

Same as mine Bud, love it, so much easier then the Hydrometer too.

Easier to check the sg in a bag of water with coral or fish in.

Fantastic bit of equipment.

EDIT This Blondy put the wrong word in - really need a Blonde moment smilie, but would be very overused atm.

Could have bought a really clever, expensive one from him but this will do my job nicely..and was cheaper too...
