New To This World

Hey guys and girls,

I am Dhananjay, and am very new to this world of Fish. Need a lot of help from all you pro's about taking care of some of by babies............In my next post I will leave a pic of my tank and the fish I need some help on as I presently have none on me. But before I go ahead thougfh I need sme help with how to take care of the tank and tend to the fish common or rare...........If I could get some basic help it would be great,....................

First you need to read about fishes, to gather some information!

Reading posts all over fish forums will really help you. You'll learn all kinds of stuff. Step one in fish keeping is choosing the right tank for you and the room its going. Being a beginner i would suggest some basic tetras or hardy cichlids. Always review your fish before you buy them as well. you don't want to put a discus in a water with 8.0 Ph, or a red tailed catfish in a 30 gallon. The world of fish keeping can be a pain and expensive, but when done right is enjoyed not only by the hobbyist, but by others who look upon this art as well. Its going to be difficult at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Just read around on these forums.
