Hiya, I've got a fish tank containing cold water fish already but for a while i've been harbouring a passion for bettas and i'm thinking of getting a tank for one, Ive read all the info on here is there anything else i really need to know? Do i really need a heater as i live in a pretty warm house and my other tanks always around 75 degrees?

Thanks

The reason for a heater is so the temperature doesn't fluctuate too much because the fluctuation causes stress... also, it depends on the size of the tank of the fish...

The rooms stays pretty much the same summer and winter and my other tanks always slightly warm no matter when you touch it!

Yes like i say the temps always around the 75 degrees mark or sometimes a little higher depending on the temp outside, first thing i brought a thermometer!
