Hi all,

ive been running a tropical tank for the past two years and decided to go marine. I picked up a 39*26*17 inch setup second hand, it came with all the equiptment except the salt. I plan to have corals but am not sure what is best salt to use. Can anyone help with this? ps I live in the uk

You will get a ton of different answers...
People have their own personal preferences/cost allowance that determine what salt to use.

For corals, you'll want a salt that has a fair about of calcium and magnesium in it. I personally use coralife salt. I have used Reef Crystals previously, which was decent as well, but prefer coralife mainly because the Ca and Mg levels seem to be even higher.

No need to Bump :p

I use H2o, as do many other Uk based salties on here :good: any chance of you starting a journel so we can follow your progress, we love watching a new tank evolve
