Right, i want to set up a marine tank, yep im new to all of this, but its something ive always wanted to do.
Ive read the pinned threads, so ive got the basic ideas, i just putting them into practice, as ive said in the newbie, ive had fresh tropical tanks for years now, and now want a marine ive spoken to various people and the majority have been sarcastic with "oh yeah, good luck" some have been really helpful, so far ive been to an aquatics centre and i told them what i wanted and they eventually sent me an e-mail the other day with the list and the cost and hopefully you gorgeous peeps can tell me whats missing, or whether im paying way over what i should be the tank will be custom made as will the stand/cabinet, it will have a sump underneath with mangroves and miracle mud, anyway heres what he sent me (he told me thats thats everything apart from small things like nets ect,all i have to do is add water and that after its been set up/matured add the fish (slowly of course))

It's kind of hard to say on pricing I live in the US and don't know the conversion.
It would help if you can tell us the exact brand of equipment for that pricing.

it will have a sump underneath with mangroves and miracle mud

If this is your fist marine tank this might not be a good idea for you, If you are set on having mangroves and miracle mud get some good book and read up, this is typically not for beginners. I'm sure others here will have more comments and suggestions for you. Let us know your progress.

Hazmat :)

There's another topic in here somewhere on mangroves. You may want to consider reading that first.

What fish are you planning on adding? From your setup, I'm guessing that you want a reef system. If this is so, what invertebrates do you want to have? It would help a lot if you could post your stocking list.

(If you don't have a stocking list, shame on you!)

:*) :*) :*) no, havent a stock list, not that clued up on my marine fish yet, ive heard trigger fish are a bit aggressive, but i do want an moray eel if poss. aslong as they dont grow huge, want a comunity kind of tank with inverts, something like fire shrimps, and maybe 1 big (ish) beasti if thats possible
