I just got moved to a new and larger office, and that allowed me the space to have a small fish tank...7 gallons. Used but in great shape. So I followed some of the advice of friends and what I read in a book, and I have a tank with fish, and it has been up and running for about 3 weeks.

I have some questions, but I will brouse through this forum, and see if some of the questions can get answered that way, and if not, I will post a few. Thanks in advance, and please understand this is the first time I have ever tried keeping fish.

Its great to be here

:hi:

Don't worry, we're not going to go crazy and reprimand you for making a few mistakes. :D

Let us know if you need help, and if you have a question, you don't have to check all the other posts to see if it has been asked and/or answered already. That is, of course, unless you want to see the answers. Lots of questions are repeated in this forum.

Thanks for the welcome...The office manager spent her lunch in my office...I was gone....she said she just watched the fish and drank a cup of tea, and she felt as relaxed as she has for months.

I love watching them...its soooo relaxing...oops time to get back to that report.

Hi Scott,
You will probably have lots of visits like that where people just come to unwind and watch the fish. Happens in my classroom all the time.

It turns out that my school has a tank in one of the back rooms. If only I could go there more often. :D

You thinking about expanding on the hobby at home?
