hello! just was wanting a few suggestions on my emerald cories.. i just got four a couple of days ago and they seem to be doing great! i also have 8 fancy guppies tho.. and when it comes to feeding time.. right now, the guppies seem to be eating their food as well as the cories tablets.. any suggestions on different food or a different way to feed?

Hikari algae wafers are good, the other fish will have trouble with them.

i feed catfish pellets and sinking wafers to my corys.

Hi, My platies like to steal cory food too so now I tend to put my cories pellets in first and then add the flake. Once they've eaten the flake then will go and see if there's any pellets to steal but at least I know my cories have had something.

Another way is with the frozen food. I defrost it in a cup and then use my turkey baster to put it right at the bottom in 2 or 3 different spots - this also seems to give everyone the chance to get a bit

My Panda Corys go made for JBL sinking pellets. But if i try to feed them Algae wafers they turn there noses up at it.

Algae wafers are a good option as multiple fish can feed at once. With frozen foods, I swill it around in a cup of water until it is defrosted fully, I then tip it all in (Make sure you are not overfeeding!) in the hope that at least some of it reaches the bottom before the other fish can eat it. This works for me :) I also put in more catfish pellets than I know my other fish can eat (In my case that is some monstrous, very large bleeding heart tetras who can fit 3 pellets in their mouths) and some will make it down to the bottom. In my case for 5 cories and 6 loaches, I put in at least close to 18 pellets to allow for the ones that will be eaten by the others

Hope this helps :)

well thats the thing.. i'm trying not to over feed my guppies but i don't think my cories are getting enough... i need to do a tank change tonite but i don;t wanna clean up all of my cories food off the floor of the tank!
