New To Cherry Shrimp

I have 4 Cherry Shrimp that are so small its untrue!
How long does it take for them to grow to full adult size as my fish will eat them whilst they are this small. I have them contained in a breeding tank.

I think it takes 2 - 3 month for them to mature (to a breeding standard).

Fish will almost certainly eat them being so small; if the shrimp will fit in the fishes mouth then it's dinner.
