New to angels- should I?

current fish? I would like to know if I would be able to keep a pair of Angels in my 96 litre tank with the fish I have got at the moment- in signiture? Didn't know how aggresive they are, bcos the fish in my tank all seem to be really friendly towards one another-what do u think???

Wow. That tank is already very, very overstocked. I would get rid of some fish as opposed to getting more. There are also several things fundamentally wrong with your setup.

1. Never keep male and female bettas together, they will probably kill each other

2. Do not keep male bettas with gouramis

3. Do not keep male bettas with angels (usually, although it may work)

4. Do not keep male bettas with male guppies.

Overall I would say that if you removed the male betta you would be fine. Oh yeah and did I mention? It's overstocked.

i have used one of them calculations about the length of fish and the amount of room they need any evrything is fine, my tank may actually be more than this anyway cos i dnt know exactly how many gallons are in a litre or the other way around. I have read on websites about keeping certain fish together and my fish all get on fine, the male betta i have isnt very aggressive at all and doesnt bother any of the other fish- not even the females, My tank is heavily planted and the fish have many hiding places, and also i have a spere large tank to allow any fish that are not doing well in my main tank allthough this has never happened. I have actually had a local fish specialist round b4 and hes told me that im actaully very lucky with the fish ive got and im always very careful to introduce fish that may not get on. I puirchased myself a pair of angels yesterday and they get on fine, they have alot of room and seem very happy and healthy aswell as the other fish. If anyone knows how many litres are in a gallon i may be able to put the correct gallons of my tank. Thanks 4 tryin to help

Absolutley not and your tank is overstocked:

96 litre tank.....
1 silver dollar
5 black widow tetra
3 female siamese fighters - all have eggs inside them
1 male siamese fighter
1 male guppy
4 female guppy - all pregnant
1 female sailfin molly- pregnant ?
1 male sailfin molly
2 albino Female Molly- pregnant?
1 dwarf gourami
2 small angelfish

Nopt only that but you should not be keeping a single silver dollar, nor is your tank big enough to house them.

Why ask a question, get a answer but then go out and do it anyway?

You shouldn't have angels in there at all and I hope for the sake of the rest of your fish that it;s not a male and a female. Angels need a large space, many give them 10gallons each in addition to the tank being at least 18" high. This is to accommodate their large bodies and fins. You are not going to be able to keep them happily in that size tank and they may well kill the rest of your fish.

You should not have a silver dollar in there because they get very big, they should also be in groups of 5+. Male bettas should not be kept with females all the time and should never be kept with fish with flashy fins like angels and male guppies. Other than that the fish you have are ok, you just have too many of them.

i have put an add up b4 to rehome the silver dollar as my friends were keeping it in a fish pond! but there wos no luck, i wud luv sum1 to hav it that has a large enuff tank but i dnt know ne1. The male fighter gets on fine with the females, i have read b4 that if males are kept wiv females then they must have a heavily planted aquarium for them to hide, ive had the females 4 about a year now and they and the male r fine. He also doesnt bother any of the other fish.

Ok, so the male betta is ok with the females but they should not be kept with angels or male guppies and your tank is not big enough to hold 2 adult angels anyway.

its 4.55 litre to the imperial gallon, so you are right about it being 21 gallons.
angels do need more room as they get bigger so it would be best to give them the spare tank. my male betta has killed 9 of my 10 neons, and i pressume its because of the coulouring, as he has left my other fish alone. i am going to take the female out as she is near to breeding and the male wont leave her alone,and is becoming more aggressive with the other fish.
i cant move the male as his fins will be munched by the kribs in the 2 foot tank.
the 2 foot tank is heavily planted and i dont think the female betta will be bothered.
