New tank

My son had 2 Oranda goldfish today, 1 is quite large. We bought him a 20 gallon tank and a large internal filter.
I realise goldfish make a lot of mess so I will need to do regular water changes, but how much? Presumably I will have to change some water every day until the tank has cylcled. I do have test kits to test the water with, we already have tropical tanks.

edit - I have added stress coat and stress zyme

If it was me I'd change 20% every week (after the cycle)

Thanks Wolf. What about keeping the amonia and nitrite down during the cycle? 10% a day?
