Been out of the game for a while so this is my 1st attempt in some time, i currently live in Military barracks so this 17gallon rimless tank is the biggest i could go, its got a mix of Black fluorite sand and gravel, a few lbs of dragon stone, a finnex light, canester filter. I put a film on the back and right side of the tank to make it look frosted to give it more depth. I then got an LED strip taped to some wood cut to length and placed it in the back to light up the background. I also used some craft plastic paper to drape it behind the tank so the led light would reflect off it to illuminate it even more and to prevent anyone from seeing tubes or cables. I have some nice glass pipe in/outlet to keep it as minimally distracting as i could. The heater is built into the canister filter. I had to use the glass pipes upside down so i got some pipe fittings and made a sort of U shape fitting to prevent the tubes from clamping on itself.
