Hey guys, after sucessfully running my 28ltr tank for a few months ive decided to upscale to a 145ltr which i got from a friend. I've set it all up 2day with new gravel, clean the filter and heater etc then filled it with water. Now i was wondering how long i should leave it running before moving my fish over from my small tank? Also what would be the best way to transfer the fish into there new home?

Also im looking to introduce new fish to the larger tank once my current fish are happy in there new home, i currently have..

3 guppies
3 cardinal tetras
5 serpae tetras
1 sucking loach

Any suggestions on new species to introduce? i was thinking on adding either 1 siemese fighter or/and a red tail shark, also ike the idea of adding some angels and some small catfish and dwarf indian puffers, would these be fine with my current fish in my larger tank?

thanks

Siamese fighter will not work. Puffers are pretty hard on most other fish. Angels, when large, can eat small fish like guppies.

For transfer, just get the water temperature right. Move the filter from the old tank to the new one (with the new filter on the new tank, assuming you have one), or make the floss from the old one fit in the new filter. That way, your bacteria on the filter that process the fish waste move with the fish. You should be fine.
