Fish Fanatic
I can't believe it. I ran accross a used tank for sell in my area. It is a 35 gallon hexigon tank with stand and all accessories. Came with a solid oak stand, AquaClear 70 power filter, Heater, 2 air pumps, hood and light, and came with a couple castle ordaments (that I will not be using). I got this all for a great price of $60.
The plan is to clean it tomorrow, set up up with some black sand that I already have and put some established tank water with bactiera. By the end of the weekend it should be ready to put some fish in it. I plan on putting in some German Rams and try and pair them off in a pair. I want to try and bread these fish. I was going to keep them in a 10 gallon tank that I already had, but then I came accross this tank. I also want to keep a school of neon tetras with them to give it some more color.
One question for you all would be. What kind of tank cleaner should I go for. I want one that will not eat the eggs when the Ram's start breeding. So would and Octilious work well? Please give me some ideas on what to use. The tank is going to be planted also.
I will get some pictures of the tank once it gets set up.
