i am thinking of upgrading from my fluval duo deep 600 to either a fluval duo deep 1000 or a juwel rio 180. In my current tank i have a fluval 205 external filter and part of the roof had to be cit to fit the mountings, but that was easy it had a special section designed to be cut. However if i upgrade to the juwel will i have to saw the wooden roof? and also i plan to get rid of the black box with the filter and thermometer in, but i have heard this is very different and can damadge the glass on the tank removing it. The juwel is the favourite because it looks better however the fluval might be more suitable condisering i want to keep using my 205 external. Also can you use arcadia bulbs in the light glo canapies in fluval tanks? and finaly can u put arcadia bulbs in the juwel lighting units?
