Hi just wondering if anyone can help me with finding a type of fish to put in my new tank. The tank is 36x12x18" and has already been cycled, has a sand substrate, has 1 piece of bog wood and a few live plants. I already have a community tank 24x12x15" which contains 3 platties, 1 bronze cory, 1 male 2 female guppys with lots of babies in breeding net, a common plec, 2 pearl guaramis and 1 flying fox.
I'd like my other tank to be a species tank what i could breed, please help me out. :D

A 30g tank with this layout would be great for any number of interesting species. New World Cichlids particularly come to mind, but there are many options.

Among some interesting possibilities:
Apistogramma sp. (small harem)
Angels (pair) note: only if tank is 18" tall, not 12"
Firemouths (pair)
Convicts (pair)
Kribs (pair)
Jewels (pair)
