New Tank

Hi ive already got a Jewel rekord 70 tank.

now ive just got a whopping new tank as i didnt want to get rid of my clown loaches

my tank has been set up and is getting ready for new fish, however i wont even consider putting the fish in for about 10 days-2 weeks as long as everything is ok.

now my question is what is the best way to transfer my fish over from the old tank to the new tank should i just use the same method as if id just bought them new?

What size is the old tank? All you need to do is run the water in the new tank over night to aerate it and get the temperature right, then transfer the fish and filter media from the old tank to the new one at the same time. Done deal.

hi there its a 70ltr tank but my new one is 295ltrs i dont want to use the old filters as i had ick some weeks ago fortunatly the rest of my fish dont have the symptoms.

so its really just the best course for tranfering the guy's over to be honest with as little tranfer of water as possible
