hi peeps

I few weeks ago I "had" to change the stones in my tank due to a bowl of ready break being poured in(buddy 3 year olds) after I removed the fish and changed the stones, something very strange :S has happened... all my fish have become active, before they just seemed to amble along and the plec would sit under my bog wood all day, but since changing the stones and I also added revit tonic to the tank the fish seem more alert and alot happier, its the change in the plec that most noticable he swims around the tank and seems to be constantly attatched to the glass feeding which I great for me as I love watching him feed but is this normal???????? the stones were washed for about on hour before there were put in but there was still alot of white from them when I filled the tank but I did a 10%water change for 3 days and now that is all gone. all my readings for the water test is excellent.
should I be worried about the plecs activity?

Some plecs are happy to be out and about all the time, others hide until night time. So long as the plec seems fine (no abnormal clamping of fins or signs of irritation or disease) I would just be glad to see him so ofte.

hey whatever you did right, the fish are loooving it, so keep on keeping on. The plec sounds delighted with the new state of things. The ones I know seem to alternate sitting still and then moving all over. I imagine he'd clean up a cucumber slice right fast with the new appetite he's got. Way to go on making your fish happier  , clearly something in the old setup was holding them back.
