New Tank set up and cycleing

ok , i got the new tank set up and i want to do this right this time.. i have the print out from inchworm about cycleing but fishless cycleing or one fish in.. what is the best thing and could i just put in live plants would that cycle it? i am willing to wait and just let it run for as long as it takes i want a good tank in my daughters room but only have two weeks before she gets home...

I think it would be better to do fishless cycle, which I am doing right now, since it will result better aquarium with better bacterial colony. Also, I heard someone finished the fishless cycle in less than 2 weeks.

So, i think you should try.

ok , i can wait but, what about live plants do they need to wait too?

Putting live plants in the cycle would speed up the cycle. So, you should put some of them.

cool thanks for the info going to the lfs tomorrow and will pick some up if they have them that is...

well, i went down and looked at the lfs and they didn't have any real healthy looking plants so i went and got some plant bulbs and a plant light and put those in today the tank is looking better with the light on there .. i will post another photo later in the other place.
