You'll need some spare shells in there as hermits will kill hermits for their real estate.
Get some nice sized shells a little bigger than the ones already occupied.

Yep, it's great to get something in there at last, your tank is looking really good, I've been following your progress in your 'Journey to the Salty Side' you must be really pleased, the corals look lovely! Is that it for now or will there be more additions??

Oh there will be additions :good: just waiting for my book to arrive to make some more plans. I am attracted to corals with movement - I adore the toadstool that I got at the weekend, can't stop from watching it  and now that I have moved the Xenia closer to the light it looks so pretty (thanks John)

What are your plans?

Trying to find some snails at the mo, but without much luck, the 2 LFS don't have any so may have to go further afield. After that prob more coral, saw this evening a cabbage coral, medusa, leather, clover polyp, button polyp and zoa polyp but don't know anything about any of these so will need to do a bit of research, would like something with movement and of course pretty to look at!

I love my clove polyp, full of mvoement and pretty to look at - but the start is the leather toadstool

You have a similar early stocking wish list to me :good:

We had problems getting snails as well, had to order them off the internet in the end

Hi Seffie, are you able to tell me where you got your snails from in the end if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks
Saff

Trod ordered from a chap on ebay - try emailing some of the shops and people selling them saying what you want and if they can help you :good:

When Trod comes along she will probably tell you the name of chappie :good:

PS we still haven't got all the different types we wanted. We have Nass (cute little things) and a turbo - we still need a couple of others

Managed to get 4 Turbo snails today, but think they have got a big job to do!! Will try and get some more at the weekend, also have a mushroom coral but it's not looking very happy at the mo had it for a few days so hope it gets happy soon. Bit annoyed as my moon lights aren't working so have got to try and sort that out too

Mine where the same, sometimes worked, sometimes didnt. I found that if I half pressed the main light button on the top to half start the lights then let go it would make it work (but then only for a short time). Gave up on them in the end.

Am looing towards getting a least 1 fish soon, anyone have any suggestions? I have looked a few up but with there being so many to choose from I wondered if anyone could suggest an ideal one to look out for.
Thanks

Maybe a pair of Pterapogon kauderni,
I got clowns and to be honest they are a right PITA they nip everything, coral polyps, fanworms ect. I may well get rid of mine infavour of a group of the aforementioned species.
