Hi all,

Apologies in advance, this is a question likely as old as time in this forum. Like many others, I’m making a bit of a return to the hobby yet I am doing so with a 125L Fluval Roma and its accompanying stand… yet when looking at the stand now with the tank approx 3/4s full, I can’t help but believe it looks a little “flimsy”?

Does anyone else have this setup and can they give me a bit of confidence I’m not going to wake up with water all in the living room?!

All the best,

Prot0n

If the stand does not come with sliders you may want to think about the practicalities of moving it to access the rear (or paint the wall). I have hard floors so I cut a rug to the correct size and put it under the stand upside down. Its a life saver when you need to move it. Tonight I am replacing the backing on my tank and when I drain 75% of the water for the water change it means I can slide it (very carefully) to get access.

Hi all, yes it’s been built to spec and is on a relatively low pile carpet so not really got any worries there! Thanks all for calming my nerves… now to cycle the thing!

I have the fluval Roma 240 and can confirm that it holds 👍🏻 I was also sceptical but it doesn't budge
