New tank new fish look like they might die

I bought 4 guppies today, put them in a new 60L tank and they look like they might die. They’re hanging out by the heater not swimming much but breathing. Temp on tank thermometer is reading 26C.

It’s an old tank I recently cleaned (just with tap water and my hand) and cleaned the gravel with tap water, then added new tap water with tap safe. Had it running for over a week before I went to get fish today.

PH 6.8.

Any ideas? Anything I can do to help them tonight?

A week isn't really long enough to cycle a tank. Do you know the tank water parameters such as ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?

Is the tank cycled?

Sounds like the tank is not cycled. Get the API Master Test kit. You likely have high ammonia and nitrite. You need to do large daily water changes in order to help establish your biological filter. This is time sensitive. Without correcting this your fish will likely die.
