hello all

ok so my tank has been running about 10 weeks now, it's 180L with 4XT5 Arcadia lights, V2 600 skimmer, Eheim Pro 2028, Vectron UV. It has about 40-45KG of live rock

2 Cleaner Shrimp
2 Camel Back Shrimp
1 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Fire Shrimp
2 reg leg hermits
2 blue leg hermits
1 Goliath crab.
2 turbo snails

now i have 2 crabs with red eyes and flat shells that only come out at night which must have been in the rock....i cant get photos of them :(

i also have some other things i'm not sure of. please help identifiy anything in some of the pics i think it may be a bristle worm and in another an enucide? worm! looks scary with like 5 tentacles coming out of its head!!

Haha! i love the little cleaner shrimps, and the RLHC, sorry cant help with IDs sorry

Lovely looking tank though

Well that "worm thing" is a starfish. Just a suggestion if you plan on keeping corals, ditch the camel shrimp. They can be soft coral pickers. Also, I would suggest getting a load of snails. They do a great job at cleaning.

Watch out for those flat crabs with red eyes! They can be EXTREMELY vemonous, enough to potentially kill you.

Yeah, bristlestarfish, button polyp, bristleworm, and what looks like an emerald crab there.

thats for the replys :)

should i try to remove the red eye'd crabs? if so how?

also what about bristle worms and the euncide worm? are these bad?

i'm loving keeping marine but its a step learning curve so i'm just trying to read as much as possible. My only real concerns are these 2 worms

The bristleworms and bristlestars are good, keep them :good:
