Hi guys, i have managed to drop on a 2ft x 1ft x 1.5 ft tank, complete setup, free :D i have yet to see it, my dads mate has it still. IF anyone read my earlier topic 'inspired to do a background' you will know i what trying to work out how to hide the filter behind this background, in one of the corners. i have been reading up and have realised i can just use a spray bar, if i run some tubing along the tank and have the bar just bellow the surface at the opposite end of the tank to the intake. i just wanted to know what everyone thinks and what experiances people have had with spray bars?

I have a canister with the in and out in the left corner and I run a hose along the back and a spray bar on the back on the right hand side. It works well. I also put a spray bar on a small internal for my Betta tank to spread the flow and that too works well (every now and then you might need to clean them out to ensure good flow). I read your earlier post and I think so long as you have access to the filter for cleaning and the water freely gets through the background then I think it should work. If you don't want the spray bar you could run a hose from the filter to the other corner and have a different outlet on the hose.
