i will be taking down my 125 gal tank to install new floors and want to save two of my electric blues in a spare 20 gal for my new setup when I'm done. my other fish will be going to my lfs. i have two ehiem 2217 presently in my 125 and have a spare penguin 125 bio wheel i will be using for the 20 gal and want to take some of the bio load from the 125 and keep the 20 gal from cycling. I was wondering if by just putting the bio wheel in the 125 gal would work or do i need to run the filter in the tank? i don't really want to cut the tank lid to accommodate the penguin 125. The 20 gal tank will be a community tank for my daughters when i get the 125 back up and going the floors might take a month or so since I'm doing it myself and i work a ton. Thanks again
