New Tank After A Few Years Without

hey guys, thought i would post some pictures up as i am very excited and cant wait to add fish

i am new to fresh water tropical keeping (have run gold fish for a few years in medium sized tanks) but one of my best mates is experienced in tropical fish keeping particularly planted tanks and has helped me set up this new tank.

we have used a mix of peat & vermiculite for the base

today i added plants and co2 injection

i have a nice matching curved hood to go on top but this is outside at the moment as im about to coat the underside in clear polyurethane to try and protect it from the moisture unless anybody has some other suggestions on how to protect this ??

hey guys, i have just added 10 neon tetras and a male and female bristlenose cat fish.

overnight one neon tetra has gone missing compleatly from the tank everything else seems ok though

I'm apisto mad at the moment but I would suggest a few apistogrammas in there, would finish off your tank
