I bought a large spotted talking cat last week when I saw him in my lfs and just had to have him! He was all wrapped up around a rock and i knew he had to be mine from then on!
Here he is...

He's such a dude! Just like me he sleeps all day then comes out to play at night!
I thought he was an easy going guy untill I saw him with an algae tab in his mouth! He was thrashing it around like a chunk of meat!!!

Anyway after falling in love with him I went to buy some Firemouths the week after and stumbled across this little fella...

He's in my hand cos I was cleaning some bogwood and didnt realise he had hidden in a hole in it! He just sloped out onto my perspex tank cover! I had to get a pic of him!!!

If your a nightbird like me then talkers are cool fish to have! I turn off my power glo light and put on my dim tank light at night and enjoy!!!

What a gorgeous fish! Let us know when he comes to the top of the tank and says "good day mate" or spells "hello" with bubbles. ;) Seriously a very beautiful fish. Thanks for sharing the photos of him. No wonder you were smitten. And that cute lil guy, what are you going to call him?

The One in Your Hand is a Rapheal Catfish Sometimes Called a Talking Catfish for Odd Noises Made.

I Have never heard mine 'Talk' and Thats perfectly fine. Your First one looks like some sort of Synodontist catfish but I might be wrong.

I Hope This Helps and Good Luck.

By The Way Rapheals and Synodontists alike eat ALOT and will suck a hold of the alge tablet or shrimp pellet (What I reccoment feeding them) and will not let any other fish take them.

Good Luck! ~Scarlett :fish:
