New Sun Coral

I bought a new sun coral today. It was from the same LFS as I bought my last one from, which was in a sorry state when I got it. I have managed to nurse my 1st into good health and it's now looking beautiful.

The one I bought today has been in my tank for 6hrs and is showing no signs of opening. I am not feeling optimistic

I will give it more time obviously and see if I can tempt it to open up by wafting food near it...wish me luck

itry adding cam jucie to the water about an hour before you feed i heard that helps.

oooh ok. well so far i've tried tempting it with brineshrimp, mysis and chopped octopus.....

Also..I have seen a tiny bit of movement although the polyps have still not come out. At least I know it is still barely alive.

Am tempting it with a prawn next.....
