New Split Tank

I Finally got my 10g for a split tank for mr.blue and mr.red. YAY for me I know they are plain as of now but ideas for what i can do would be great.

Plants would make the tank more lively and betta seems to love it so much.

Live plants would be good. Are you covering the glass so they can't see each other?

No im not covering the glass so they cant see each other. they have been close to each other since i got them and dont even flare at each other anymore. As of right now they have 1 live plant each and one silk plant. I was wondering if i should stick something they could hide in the tanks?

and its more of a plastic that is kind of smoking with little holes but they still see each other.
