New Shrimp

I just got some bumblebee shrimp off an online auction (don't think I am supposed to support any particular business so I won't) and the owner sent along some red cherry shrimp for free! I am psyched about getting some of these little beauties but I am basically a newbie when it comes to freshwater invertebrates. Any information on these two little shrimp species?

Also, they seem to be hiding underneath my decorations right now is that normal?

How many is there (of both spec)
My single shrimp hid for a few days, then started coming out, but mainly in the evening/night.
They eat algae, and like algae waffers which you can buy from most fish shops/pet shops, and they may even like a bit of veg.
