new set up

i hope this is posted in the right place!

i am starting up a 20 gal long for female bettas, some danios and corys (i think)

i have never set up a tank piece by piece, as i inherited all the set ups i have (other than the bettas). i am not sure what i need for this set up.

i am looking for guidelines for gallons per hour and wattage for filters and heaters, etc. also any brand recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!

heating: 50 watts
lighting without plants: 20 watts
light with plants : 60 watts
filter: get one for 30-40 gallon tanks, I think that's 150 gph?
brands: anything is good usually, hagen, whisper, penguins

i would recommend at least 100W heater but that's just me
