I have recently cleaned out an 220L tank and was just wondering was sort of set up I should get? I would like a change from the usual tetra sort of set up?
Any suggestions.

Hi there, it all depends on what your water chemistry is really. If you have a really high ph then it would probably not be best to kep some american cichlids and tetras etc, where as if it was really low then it wouldn't be suitable for malawi's or Tanganyikan species.

If you could tell us what your stats are then this would help tremendously.

well the tank is empty atm so it was just thinking so i can go buy any specific things like a cave for a plec, and I did have a green phantom pleco.

This is why you need to find out your water parameters first... Plecs are well knows for being happy with a wide range of ph as mentioned beforehand so i guess you can source the cave you want to add to your tank. :)

yeah I just wanted to know any different tank set ups that are different like a cichlid set up or maybe a angle fish or shark?

There are many different tank setups you could have but first you need to find out what fish you can house. If your water is suitable for Malawi's then plants and bogwood would not be a very good choice and you would need rockwork, alot of it. If your water was suitable for SA/CA Cichlids then you could add bogwood, plants, rocks with no issues.

Yeah well i guess Its up to what I can house and If I can afford it

yeah me two! its an expensive hobby but still a rewarding thing.
