Congrats on the Sailfin. Wow nice fat belly on that one! Mine get fat bellys that poke out, but never that round! You must feed him good Any side view pics?

Cute plec. You do realise that sailfins grow 18 - 24 inches long and grow very fast don't you? What size tank are you keeping it in?

at the moment i only have it in a 20 gallon

i also have a 70 gallon when it out grows the 20 gallon

he only likes the belly pics lol

i will try and get a shot of him from the side tonight

Great pic, he's a cute one. Also on sexing I've heard that you can tell when you havea few by the width of the head. Bigger width = male Smaller head = female. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

i named her belle

*i have another common pleco that i named beast because i used to

have a castle in the tank and thats where he would hide waiting for

belle to come and make him pretty again *

and they get along just great

yeah sailfins grow pretty fast

since that last picture post i swear she grew an inch

but yeah my common pleco is still about 2 inches bigger
