So....After running my pico successfully I have decided to clean out my 17gal tank I have in the bedroom. I'm going to bring it downstairs where it was originally as I find it gets too much direct sunlight in the bedroom.
I spent an hour or so today fixing powerheads so I don't need to buy one now.
I can't decide what I want to put in it yet. My second experiment with the pico was hatching live brineshrimp with a view to keeping a couple of seahorses in there as it's a tall tank...this is still a possibility and I'll look into it a bit more. If I do decide to go with SH I may have to rethink the powerhead as it's quite powerful.
Another possibility is to have a pistol shrimp/goby tank....again, I will do a bit more reading up.
I was also thinking of having a coral only tank, filled with sun corals, candy canes etc. If I do go down this route I'll add a skimmer.
Any suggestions are more than welcome. Don't forget I like a challenge, so the more unusual the better
