Yesterday at 4 o'clock there was no pond in my garden. By 7 O clock there was this! Done by my own fair hands! Fish were added this morning.
It is a 33 gallon preformed liner with a pump and green slate surrond. The rocks edging the pond are hot glue gunned on and I'm still thinking about what to use as border for the slate.
Tell me what you think!

Down low! Within 1 minute of filling the pond a frog appeared!!! No joke, it was so strange. He was obviously waiting for me to build a pond!

how cool :cool: are you gonna buy some lily pads to go in it? it would look really nice especially with frogs :p

Well I looked at lillys today and 1 cost £9.00! So i'm going to go elsewhere to buy one. i'm still going to put more plants in etc and spruce it up a bit

That is a really cool pond you have there.

Like the Slate and Large Stone

I would recommend a pygmy water Lily for a pond of that size, maybe try;

Thats a nice'Water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) you have there, expect the pond to be covered in them in the coming months as they reproduce A-sexually and grow very quickly, great plant and if you can heat the water you can even get the to flower! Looks good, best of luck. :)
