New Pond Advice Please

ok we have set up a 1300 ltr pond added pump and filter with built in uv light,
we let it run over night and alls well today apart from the strong chlorine smell but i have a large bottle of stress coat if needs be.
my situation is this- mums shutting down her pond im having all fish/plants and media from her filter, my pond is bigger than hers so fish gain more room straight away, my question is when can i add her stock and is it worth me adding the stress coat?

well if theres a strong chemical smell then use a dechlorinator and wait a couple hours. once youve added the old filter media add the fish to keep the filter media fed.
